Luke won the 2009 TKM Festival (Junior 4 Stroke) held at Whilton Mill at the weekend. Its the largest one-make race event of it's kind with over 300 drivers and held annually.
We've only ever done this event once a couple of years ago and we got 6th so to come back two years later and win it is unbelievable!
However, it didn't start well and we nearly went home after arriving and finding things a bit disorganised. We manged to get sorted with a good place and our pitch set-out and got us in shape.
Luke qualified on pole and took the win in the final race. It wasn't quite as easy as that as he had to work very hard, as the other drivers we taking no prisoners, but got the result.
It was televised and will be shown on sky and motors tv, the post race interview with a nervous Luke is funny as he's never had to talk to a tv camera before. There will be a dvd released and lots of photos on various websites.
