FORMULA FORD FESTIVAL

Top waiting in the assembly area to go to the grid to start the final in P26, sadly as we had engine problems during qualifying we struggled to make places back during the race and finished 20th.
We look forward to next year.

2013 BRSCC FORMULA FORD FESTIVAL

Luke will be competing in this years Festival at Brands Hatch in Kent, the racing takes place over the weekend of October 26th/27th with testing on Friday 25th. This is a well attended international event with all the top FF teams fighting for the win and the prestige of being the Festival champions. Luke won the TKM kart Festival in 2009 and beat all the top teams, let's hope we can have a repeat at Brands.

Silverstone Lows........

After now missing four rounds of the 2013 Monoposto championship due to other motorsport commitments we knew this would be a tough round against the higher powered opposition on a circuit which favours horse power, however if we could get a top three finish we could keep hold of enough points to take it down to the final rounds at Snetterton next month.
Qualified pole for both races and after leading the first race for all but the last lap when a drive shaft joint let go putting us out at the side of the track was now a cruel blow to our championship chances but we still had race two on Sunday, this we started from pole once again but as hard as we tried and with new tyres we couldn't stay ahead of our more powerful rivals and ended up P2 at the finish line, this now putting our championship hopes out of contention for this year.
On the plus side Luke showed off his newly painted crash helmet finished in his traditional 'Yellow' colour from his karting days and beautifully prepared and finished by professional motorsport artist Steve Hatt of www.graffixunlimited.co.uk please check out his website for a look at his amazing work, truly fantastic! Coming soon.....LCR Motorsport

Soon to be launched 'LCR Motorsport' is an all new race team for kart and car drivers/owners/dads needing help and tuition with their chosen sport/pastime including kart hire and full race team assistance for the seasoned drivers looking for that extra tenth of a second be it in car or kart.
The team will be headed by Luke with support from some of the top race engineers in the country.
More detail's will be announced later with the launch of a website.
